Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar - January 2011. Rating by Josh Raynolds: 89-91. "Bright purple. Spicy dark berries, white pepper and fresh flowers on the nose, along with notes of licorice and black olive. Zesty, palate-coating blackberry and cherry flavors gain sweetness and smokiness with air and pick up a touch of licorice. Chewy tannins add shape to the dark fruit flavors and carry through a smoky, spicy finish."
